The Last Day of School

Another school successful school year has ended.  This was an amazing year working with students and watching them learn new technology and literacy skills.  A few highlights from the library that I remember fondly from this year are:

• The Battle of the Books Competition - so much fun!
• The Mustang TV Crew - the student really developed an amazing talent for broadcasting, using picture-in-picture, and the new background is a great improvement
• Helping student use the green screen to create videos
• Watching creations in the Maker Room and seeing the excitement on students facing
• Using Google Classroom for the first time - what a great tool!
• Working with individual students on their many projects
• Helping students pick out new books to read and giving them suggestions
• Here about the books students loved reading
• Reading Wonder and blogging with Mrs. Somer's class

Now that summer has arrived I encourage all students to find some great books and read while they have a little extra time.
