February 23 - March 1

Wix is the big project on board for this week. Students in Mrs. Honn's class spent last week researching and African country and are making a website about that country this week in class.  The majority of the students have not used this program before and have picked it up quickly. The design skills that students are showing are fantastic.  Below some pictures of the students working on their websites.

Mrs. Andrews's class will be the library on Thursday to get an introduction to the web tool Thinglink. They'll get an introduction to how this tool is used and then they'll be working on creating a Thinglink to go along with the novel they're reading City of Ember.

I'll be popping into Mrs. Serkowski's on Thursday and more later next week to work on a project for Digital Learning Day.  The students will beginning brainstorming ideas for their project which will deal with technology evolution, more on this next week!
